Los Algodones

Los Algodones is a small border town in Baja California, Mexico, sitting directly across from Andrade, California, and just a short drive from Yuma, Arizona. Its location at the northernmost point of México makes it one of the most accessible border crossings in the country.

Known internationally as “Molar City,” Los Algodones has spent decades developing around dental care for international patients. Its compact downtown holds a dense concentration of dental clinics, pharmacies, optical services, and restaurants, most of them within walking distance of the border crossing itself.

A Simple Layout

Unlike larger Mexican cities, where dental clinics can be spread across different neighborhoods, Los Algodones has a tightly concentrated dental district. Most clinics sit within a short walk of one another and of the border itself.

For patients unfamiliar with international travel, that simplicity is a large part of what makes Los Algodones different from destinations that require a flight, a hotel stay, and a longer, more complicated itinerary.
